Healthy and quick-witted Irene D. Mitchell (seated) celebrates her 103rd Birthday on April 16th with her sister Thelma Perry of New York. Relatives and friends gathered at Irene’s home in Adams Run, South Carolina. Irene is the mother of Charles Mitchell, and mother-in-law of Ruth Mitchell of Hickory, North Carolina.
